Terms of sale
These terms
These terms cover prints and gift cards bought on bowerbirdprints.com. They sit alongside your rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Nothing here removes those rights.
Who you are buying from
The seller is Strategically Lean Academy Limited, trading as Bower Bird Prints. Company number SC633314. Registered office: Office 4, 27 Crown Terrace, Aberdeen, Scotland, AB11 6HD. Email hello@bowerbirdprints.com.
The contract
A contract is made when we email you to confirm the order. That email includes your order reference, which starts BBP-. Prices are in pounds sterling and include any VAT that applies. Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Prints
Prints are designed in Scotland and printed to order on heavy matte fine art paper, then posted to the address you give. They are standard designs from the catalogue. A commission made from your own photograph or brief is personalised, and we will say so before you pay.
Delivery
Delivery prices, free-delivery thresholds and Christmas order-by dates are on the delivery page. You will get an email with a tracking link when the print ships.
Cancellation and returns
You can cancel a catalogue print for any reason within 14 days of receiving it. How to return one, and what happens if it arrives damaged or wrong, is set out on Refunds and Returns. The returns address is Office 4, 27 Crown Terrace, Aberdeen, Scotland, AB11 6HD.
Gift cards
Gift cards are sent by email. Gift cards do not expire. They can be used on any Bower Bird print, more than once until the balance runs out, and cannot be exchanged for cash. You can cancel a gift card within 14 days of buying it for a full refund, as long as none of it has been spent.
If something goes wrong
If a print is faulty, not as described, or does not arrive, email hello@bowerbirdprints.com and we will repair the problem with a replacement or a refund. We are not responsible for losses that are not a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract, or that you and we could not have known about when the contract was made. This does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. You can bring a claim in the Scottish courts, or in the courts of the part of the UK where you live, where consumer law allows it.
